Caregiver/Companion

Here at Happier at Home we provide companion level care that helps seniors stay more independent in the comfort of their own home.

We are looking for mature, responsible, independent-thinking individuals to join our team as caregivers. We offer the opportunity to have a flexible schedule and work the number of hours you would like.

Happier At Home provides service in the following settings: private homes, apartments, independent and assisted living communities, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and rehab centers.

Caregivers help with a variety of daily activities such as:

• Meal Planning & Preparation
• Transportation & Appointments
• Shopping & Errands
• Light Housekeeping, Laundry & Stripping Beds
• Bathing and Dressing Set-Up & Monitoring
• Companionship & Mental Stimulation
• Specialized Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care
• Exercise Encouragement & Monitoring
• Respite Care
• Information & Referral Services

A driver's license and reliable transportation are required for the position.

Applicant will be required to pass a:

• Drug screen test
• Criminal background check
• Motor vehicular record check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
